Every New Year's people come up with a million resolutions from "I'm going to go to the gym everyday" to "I'm going to climb Mount Everest" but end up giving up on them within a few weeks. Every year my resolutions have been pretty similar. Some years I end up actually following through on some resolutions but like most people I give up after a few weeks. This year I'm going to try something a little different. I am going to share my experiences trying to keep my resolutions with all of you. I'm sure there will be some I keep, some I will give up by next week and some new ones added along the way. I'm going to try to choose resolutions that will help make me a better, stronger person and help me figure out how to be the person I want to be. I am excited to share this experience and wish everyone else out there making New Year's Resolutions the best of luck in 2013! Happy New Year!!!
Kalli's Resolutions for 2013
Cut down on eating fast food to only once a month. (Chinese food not included, a girl needs to eat something)
Go to the gym at least 2x a week (3x if I eat Chinese or fast food that week)
Be a smarter shopper. Try not to impulse buy or buy things frivolously even though it will not be easy. Remember YOU ARE NOT A KARDASHIAN. YOUR BANK ACCOUNT IS LIMITED.
Be more patient with the people around me.
Try to find peace around me and learn to take a breathe when I need it.
Enjoy my friends and being young.
Listen to more music, see shows and take advantage of the fact that I live a 25 minutes train ride away from the cultural hub that is New York City.
Try new things...except skydiving. Definitely not skydiving.
Meet new people.
Try to eat different things...including fish :/
Work hard but find time to enjoy life.
Be adventurous!
