Inspirations: What Keeps Us Going
Hello again! So we are halfway through January and I've realized it's easier to write things down than to actually do them. I definitely have more motivation with this blog but now I understand people that use vision boards. It is sooo inspirational to have something to look at and remind you what your goals are. They remind you that if you want to change your life, you have to be the one to do it!
During these last few days, I have been working on my resolutions. So far, I have only eaten fast food once (a Shake Shack just opened by the mall!) and have been going to the gym 3x a week. I I started with the easier resolutions and now they are helping me in achieving the more difficult ones. After pushing myself to go the first week I am finally starting to get into the gym groove and making it a part of my regular routine. Working out, especially practicing yoga, has in turn helped me in finding some inner peace. It is helping me relax and pave the way to working on my other resolutions.
I'm going to continue pushing myself in my health resolutions and really start working on the more difficult ones. I have tried to be more patient with the people around me (even if they aggravate me to no end) and I have already made plans to reconnect with some old friends that were always there for me and that I wish I didn't lose touch with. I am also trying to be open to do new and different things. I haven't quite figured out what exactly I want to try just yet but I'll get there in time!
Seeing how this blog is changing my outlook on these resolutions, maybe I'll start using vision boards to keep my inspiration strong. What is inspiring you to keep working at your resolutions? Are you using vision boards or are you blogging like me? What keeps your inspiration going?
Trying to figure out how to stay motivated? Here's a guide on how to make a vision board. Good luck!!
